How did you first learn about the Institution of Fire Engineers?

I was exposed to the IFE by a fortunate coincidence at my workplace – where I served my internship for mechanical engineering at a site-based fire department for a paper mill facility. From my introduction to fire engineering, I found that it is a very niche and selective field, so having an institution that provides the facility to increase and share knowledge proves beneficial.

Are you going to be working towards other IFE registers or a higher membership grade once you have finished your studies?

Yes, most certainly. I would like to extend my studies and in the fire investigation aspect.
