New Board of Trustee Directors announced at IFE’s centennial AGM meeting

In marking the IFE’s milestone at its centennial Annual General Meeting (AGM), the newly elected Board of Trustee Directors was announced to members. At such a critical period of change within the industry, the Board plays a vital role in steering the IFE’s objective to expand, influence and shape the future of the fire sector.

A new vision

Joining the Board of Trustee Directors is Nick Collins. Nick has been a member of the IFE for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to the IFE leadership, having worked in various capacities within the sector including leading roles in London Fire Brigade and the Audit Commission. Nick has led major projects and programmes for the UK’s National Fire Chiefs Council and he has previously served on the UK Chief Fire Officers Association’s Board as well as carried out the role of Director of Strategy and Performance.

As a newly elected Trustee Director, Nick will add to the vision of the IFE’s strategy, being part of the influence that assists in adapting to emerging challenges and seizing new opportunities.

Continual commitment

Dr Peter Wilkinson has been re-elected as a Trustee Director, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the IFE. As a prominent figure within the sector, Peter has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to the institution, being party to many developments, including the IFE’s EEDI working group. His re-election is a testament to his contributions and the trust placed in his leadership by the global IFE community.

In their voluntary capacity, the IFE’s Board of Trustee Directors bring diverse experiences and knowledge to the IFE, evolving the leadership and carrying the institution’s vision on behalf of the membership.
